Week 2 across the BeerFL syndicate was a masterclass in bench-induced heartbreak. Coaches left star players on the sidelines, and the fallout was catastrophic. Commissioner JayP weighed in, calling it "a total disaster, believe me. Many people are saying it’s the worst bench management they’ve ever seen. Tremendous mistakes, very unfair to the fans."

In BEERFL Dynasty, Tre Tucker’s breakout performance; a 114-yard, 1-touchdown outing; was squandered on benches. Coach Shields lamented, "I had Tucker in my lineup all week, but I chickened out at the last minute. Now I’m staring at a 98 to 85 loss. Brutal." Tucker’s benching left coaches questioning their WR depth charts, with Commissioner JayP adding, "Tre Tucker is huge, folks. A tremendous talent. Nobody benches him next week, or it’s a total witch hunt."

BEERFL D2: 2 Fast 2 Beerious saw Dalton Schultz’s monster TE performance; a 141-yard, 1-touchdown explosion; left on the bench. Coach Powers, who lost 112 to 94, was blunt: "I thought I was smarter than this. Schultz was sitting there, laughing at me from my bench. Total humiliation." Commissioner JayP chimed in, "Dalton Schultz is winning bigly. A tremendous player. Very unfair to bench him. Many people are saying it’s the worst decision in league history."

Over in BEERFL 2026, Denzel Boston’s surprise WR outing; a 92-yard, 1-touchdown gem; went unnoticed. Coach Coey, who fell 108 to 91, admitted, "I didn’t even consider Boston. Now I’m kicking myself. This loss is on me." Commissioner JayP declared, "Denzel Boston is a star, folks. A tremendous star. Nobody benches him again, or it’s a total disaster."

BEERFL Exhibition 2026 featured Jared Goff’s stellar QB performance; a 302-yard, 3-touchdown clinic; left on the bench while Caleb Williams struggled. Coach Seabass, who lost 124 to 102, groaned, "I thought Williams was the future. Turns out, Goff was the present. Lesson learned." Commissioner JayP weighed in, "Jared Goff is huge, folks. A tremendous quarterback. Caleb Williams? Not so much. Very unfair to bench Goff. We are winning bigly with him."

No notable transaction fallout to report this week, but the bench blunders stole the show. As Commissioner JayP put it, "Week 2 was a total disaster for bench management. Many people are saying it’s the worst they’ve ever seen. Believe me, we’ll fix it. Tremendous fixes coming."

Coaches across the syndicate are now scrambling to avoid a repeat in Week 3. The lesson? Trust your stars; or suffer the consequences.
