Season 2026, Week 4 · Front Page

One Coach, Four Leagues, Zero Mercy

Across the BeerFL syndicate, a single Franchise Architect's collapse became the week's grim centerpiece while paper tigers and boomerang ghosts haunted everyone else.

There are bad weeks, and then there is whatever happened to Franchise Architect 600586236817637376. Four leagues. Four losses. Not a single scoreboard offered shelter. In this business you learn to expect the occasional across-the-board face-plant once a season; you do not expect to watch it happen in real time, league by league, like a man checking four different mailboxes and finding eviction notices in each one. Commissioner JayP, never one to let a crisis go un-narrated, offered his verdict late Sunday night: "Nobody has ever seen a sweep like this, believe me. Many people are calling it the worst week in BeerFL history. Tremendous, in a bad way."

JayP would know something about bad weeks himself. He lost in all four leagues too, right alongside Coach DasLein, who might as well frame his own scoreboard and hang it in a hallway of regret. DasLein started Rashee Rice for zero points not once but across two separate leagues, benched Drake Maye (31.4) for Matthew Stafford, and sat Brian Robinson's 27.2 in favor of David Montgomery's 4.3. The ghosts of his own roster cuts didn't help either: Chase Brown, recently released, torched him for 14.6 in a game DasLein lost by 7.9. The boomerang always comes back; this week it came back swinging.

Elsewhere, the Exhibition league produced its ugliest Sunday on record. Mageronica's 50.3 now sits as the all-time franchise low, with OrrElseWhat's 51.8 right behind it. FeKing cracked the top ten too, at 67.1. Watermallin's 72.3-point demolition of Mageronica only rubbed salt into an already-salted wound.

The paper tigers, meanwhile, kept winning anyway. Smielkeway somehow claimed victory in two separate leagues despite bottom-40-percentile scoring in one and bottom-33 in another, this after benching T.J. Hockenson's 28.9 for Dalton Kincaid's 1.7, a swing for the ages. Coach Powers, who similarly squeaked by on 164.3 points, put it simply afterward: "I didn't deserve that win. I'll take it anyway."

Commissioner JayP, for his part, remains unbothered by any of it. "We are winning bigly," he insisted, having himself lost four times over. "Total witch hunt on my lineup decisions. Nobody respects the shield anymore." Somewhere, Emanuel Wilson's bench-bound 27 points sat quietly, unused, unmourned.
